These days, a degree isn’t enough to be employable. A 2013 Gallup poll of business leaders revealed these findings:
It’s clear that today’s business leaders care a lot about practical skills and knowledge of one’s field, and these are what Trinity cares about as well. Rather than focusing on formal certification, Trinity seeks for our graduates to show their accomplishments and what they can actually do with their skills. We are not alone in this perspective, as the CEO of IBM has said that
“Getting a job at today’s IBM does not always require a college degree….What matters most is relevant skills, sometimes obtained through vocational training.”
Although this approach doesn’t work for every industry, in the training areas Trinity selects (e.g., web design, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, office administration), students can quickly go from knowing very little to being employable.
If you are looking for an official certificate to demonstrate your accomplishments, successful graduates earn a certificate from Trinity Education upon graduating from a Bootcamp program. Digital Bootcamp students can also earn a free Google certificate as part of their course requirements. Most importantly, students will have a variety of work samples to share with prospective clients and demonstrate their competence.
