University Espoir
Location: Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Calvary Chapel College is located on the campus of a 1,000+ member church Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince. The college serves more than 300 students with management, computer science, education, and accounting courses. At the beginning of 2018, Trinity Education helped launch the Digital Bootcamp (in conjunction with Hope Ventures) at Calvary Chapel College. Over 30 Haitian students were accepted into the program, and the Digital Bootcamp will be offered as part of the computer science curriculum at the college. The ultimate goal is that these students will be beacons of light in the nation of Haiti and be economically self-sufficient through freelance work and small business creation.
IMPACT OF OUR BOOTCAMP
Amos studies computer science at University Espoir in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and joined the first Digital Bootcamp cohort in 2018. After completing both Digital Bootcamp and WordPress Practicum, he and his classmates started a web design company, Prowebsa.
