Our Founding Members
Bob is one of Trinity Education’s co-founders and serves as President of Trinity Education. He also serves as the President of the Harvest Foundation, a ministry to equip the Church around the globe to reflect God’s love in the local community. Additionally, Bob is co-founder of the Disciple Nations Alliance and author of the book If Jesus Were Mayor. Bob lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Judy.
Amanda is also a co-founder of Trinity Education and has served as Trinity Education’s chief networker, researcher, and developer, helping lead Trinity Education from concept to implementation. Her diverse range of experiences in the education field include curriculum development, international education, pedagogy and teaching, music education, research, writing, and grant development. Amanda earned her Ph.D. in Comparative and International Development Education from the University of Minnesota. She currently lives in the Jacksonville, FL area.
Vishal MangalwadiPioneering Visionary
Vishal is a social reformer and author who originally hails from India. He has lectured in more than 40 countries and published 17 books. As of November 2013, Vishal began serving as the Honorary Professor of Applied Theology at a university in India. Vishal is the original champion of the Trinity Education vision, first initiating the idea in Indonesia during 2009 and subsequently encouraging it to expand through other networks as well.
Phil Burgess is an award-winning educator, businessman, and writer who has lectured worldwide on aging, immigration, energy, economic development and other public policy issues. For 19 years Phil was a university professor at The Ohio State University, University of Colorado and Colorado School of Mines. Phil also served as chief executive of the Congressionally-chartered National Academy of Public Administration in Washington. Phil spent the last decade of his career as a C-suite executive in large-cap global telecommunications companies in the US and Australia where he was responsible for corporate affairs and all external relations. A former Fulbright Scholar (Norway), Phil received his Ph.D. from The American University.
Allan retired from the University of Adelaide in June 2013 after 10 years as a Learning Designer. He is the recipient of numerous awards including an Apple Distinguished Educator, the 2012 Office of Learning and Teaching Australian Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning. He is passionate about helping teachers in developing countries use 21st Century learning and teaching methods. He and his wife Glynis have commenced their own consultancy called Designing Outcomes to pursue this calling.
Richard originally hails from England, but lived in South Africa for 16 years where he became a Christian out of atheistic roots. He earned his M.Div. in the U.S. and worked in a church plant among South Asian. In 1996, Richard established a distance education program at the International School of Theology. He also assisted Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in bringing digital resources and training to indigenous ministries in the former Soviet Union. He is passionate about reaching out isolated teachers and leaders in the developing world through technology-supported training and resources.
Our Team Members
Jooyoung is the academic coordinator for Trinity Education. Her core responsibilities include researching and designing curriculum, developing Academic Mentor training content, and monitoring academic progress of the local Trinity Education sites. She enjoys working in cross-cultural settings and has previously in Korea, China, and the U.S. Jooyoung holds a MA in social work from Seoul national university and studied Digital Learning Design from University Texas of San Antonio. She lives in Texas with her husband Brad and their three young children.
Vishal serves as Trinity Education’s technology advisor, supporting the developmental and organizational needs of this emerging global movement. He is an application developer at Liferay and the lead developer with a learning management system called OpenBook. He lives in Southern California with his wife beautiful wife Lexi and their two young boys Josiah and Elias.
Cliff Davis, J.DAcademic Mentor Trainer
Cliff is a leader in Youth With A Mission (YWAM), serving at the Kona, HI base. He is the pioneer of the Chronological Bible Core Course, which has taken off in various locations. Cliff is an attorney by training and still practices legal work in addition to his ministry responsibilities. Cliff and his wife Amaris, who is also a YWAMer, have two young children named Jonah and Jack.
Annalyn enjoys crafting a ridiculously fast website to help small business and non-profit organization. Some of her clients include: Girl Guide Canada, Vote Run Lead, MCF (Mully Childrens Family) Canada, and Matahari Justice. She studied web design/animation at the Georgian College in Ontario, Canada, where she currently lives. She originally hails from the Philippines and also worked as a student instructor at the Center for Alternative Education at the Polytechnic University of The Philippines.
Bryce proofreads and edits Trinity Education’s lesson plans and practice exercises. A life-long North Carolina resident, he lives in Raleigh, where he works full-time as a Technical Writer. When he isn’t reading or writing, he enjoys running, listening to music, meditating, talking sports, hiking, and brushing up on his Spanish. HIs interest in foreign languages has been growing since his most recent trip overseas.
Brian has been working as a Financial Consultant with Trinity Education since August 2015 to develop and implement the organizations’ inaugural accounting and financial reporting system while providing technical support and training to Trinity Education Leadership. Brian is currently the Manager of Global Financial Analysis for New York University and prior to that he spent 4 years as a Senior Auditor focusing on Non-Profit clients in the Northeast. He received a BS in Accounting & Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in 2010 and currently resides in Manhattan.
Lincy was born and raised in Kerala, India. She studied computer science at Bangalore University and has worked as a virtual assistant with various companies based in the U.S. and U.K. She currently lives in Bangalore city with her husband, Abhishek and loves making art from recycled material when she’s not working on other projects.
