Ph.D. in engineering (specialty: materials science) from Northwestern University; 27 years at Motorola doing research & development and training in math & engineering topics in the Far-East; spent the last 10 years training black-belts in a disciplined methodology called Six-Sigma at GE Aircraft Engines; he and his wife have been heavily involved in a Tanzanian project starting two Christian primary schools (one in a Masai village and the other in a Muslim community) and are currently expanding their efforts to affect 50 primary/secondary Tanzanian schools.
